A hand-sculpted jackdaw inspired by the sleek silhouette and distinctive pale eye of this intelligent member of the crow family. Shaped in wool and carefully layered to create natural feather texture, the piece captures the subtle tonal variation between the darker body and softer grey nape.
Finished with characteristic pale glass eyes and formed around a fine internal wire armature for structure and stability.
